Civics Association:
Meets: First Monday 7:30 at Library
The Anna Civic
Association was founded in the late 1960's. The organization's name
has changed throughout the years: Anna Community Club, Tri Community
Club, and currently the Anna Civic Association.
The organization's
purpose has not changed:
- To provide community activities
- To provide financial assistance to individuals and organizations through scholarships and donations, and
- To promote community goodwill
The Anna Homecoming Festival is the association’s major activity
provided for the Village and is their sole fundraising event.
The Anna Civic Association has provided major financial support
for new basketball courts and the summer baseball program; purchased
a learning center and communications system for the elementary school
building; purchased new Christmas Decorations for the Village, and
gave a donation of $10,000 to the Rocket Boosters for bleachers
at the football complex.
With grants from the Anna Endowment Fund, the Civic Association
constructed a bikeway/walkway path in the Village Park and purchased
new Village entrance signs.
Yearly donations and activities include $2,000 in scholarships
to graduating seniors, $500 to the Anna Library, and assistance
in providing a Fall Festival, Easter Egg Hunt, and Santa Clause
visits.
The Anna Civic Association is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.

Anna
Garden Club:
Meets: 3rd Tuesday 7:00PM at Library
The Anna Garden Club was organized in 1995 as a way to beautify the Village of Anna. The Club members plant and maintain flowers at various locations including the Corporation limits, the Village Park, and on Main Street with large pots and hanging baskets. Fundraisers include bulb sales, Christmas Greenery sales, and Cow Chip Bingo (held during the Anna Homecoming).Persons interested in joining the Club or in supporting the Garden Club’s efforts are encouraged to call Julie Ehemann at

The Anna District Historical Society:
Meets: The 3rd Tuesday at 6:30pm @ the Anna Village Hall
The Anna District Historical Society is an educational organization whose main purpose is to promote and educate an awareness of the rich historical heritage that exists within the confines of the Anna, McCartyville and Kettlersville areas. The Society's intent is to promote this awareness by means of meetings, historical programs, research, commemorative activities and tangible historical memorabilia. A museum may be established to further this purpose and to display acquisitions of historical materials which it may acquire.
Memberships shall be open to persons who are interested in the objectives of this Society and who are willing to aid and assist in promoting and ecouraging the same.
